The analytical model represents the physical structural members as a stick frame. Simplifying the 3D physical model with an analytical model stick frame characterises the full engineering system used for analysis.
The analytical model consists of those structural components, geometry, material properties, loads, etc. that together form an engineering system.
In this webinar we will show the importance of the analytical model. We will demonstrate how one can view the analytical model along with the physical model or view the analytical model all on its own. We will also display methods to ensure the analytical model is well placed as well as how to modify the analytical model to satisfy the needs of the engineer. The analytical model is what is used to do structural analysis with other external applications such as Graitec’s Advance Design and we will present this link.
